NEW – How To Wholesale FBA

Lesson 5

This is a new lesson in the course to teach about "Wholesaling FBA". This video cuts of all the fluff and gets straight to the point. The video will teach you how to find products, how to evaluate them, how to find suppliers, and what to say to suppliers.

Step 1: Understanding Wholesaling

Wholesaling involves purchasing popular products in bulk from manufacturers or distributors at a lower cost per unit. You then resell these products individually at a higher price, generating profit. For Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), you send your inventory to Amazon’s warehouses, and they handle storage, shipping, and customer service.

Note: While we recommend private labeling and rebranding for long-term success and brand building, wholesaling is a quick and easy way to start generating revenue for beginners. This method allows you to leverage existing popular products without the need to create new listings.

Step 2: Research Products with AMZScout

AMZScout is a powerful tool for product research, helping you identify profitable products to wholesale. Here's how to use it effectively:

  1. Install AMZScout: Add the AMZScout Chrome extension or use the web app.
  2. Search for Products: Use AMZScout to analyze product demand, competition, and profitability. Look for products with high demand but low competition.
  3. Check Key Metrics:
    • Sales Volume: check to make sure its doing thousands of dollars monthly sales.
    • Profit Margins: Calculate potential profit after fees and costs using the calculator in AMZscout.
    • Competition: Look for products with a low number of sellers.
    • Score: Look for a reselling score 8 to 10.

Step 3: Find a Reliable Supplier

After identifying a product:

  1. Contact Suppliers: Use platforms like Google, WholesaleCentral, or contact local distributors.
  2. Negotiate Terms: Discuss pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and shipping terms.
  3. Request Samples: Before placing a large order, request samples to ensure product quality.
